About Gina DeNicola
I live in Nashville TN with my husband and my chickens who have flown the coop. Only recently have I come to terms with the fact that my son and his wife are unapologetic hipsters with no plans to reform and are wedding photographers in Nashville. The Ying to that Yang is my “Lisa Simpson” daughter is a High School English teacher in downtown Nashville and her goal is to save one child at a time with a good book. I have gone from making change at a gas station to 25 years of motherhood to running my own bakery in what everyone in the world seems to think is the “IT” city. But when I’ve had my fill of the constant parade of bachelorette parties on pedal taverns and man buns as far as the eye can see, I travel with my husband who is in the entertainment business to see what real crazy looks like. Heart Written Words is the product of my day to day life as seen through my unique, possibly broken but definitely scratched lens.
I loved ‘Little Cardboard Signs’. Your comment regarding the Religeon of Kindness really hits home for me. I am not one to follow organized Religeon, my God is not the one to be feared as depicted in the Bible. My God is one of unconditional love, kindness, wisdom and compassion. i applaud your open heart and kindness.
Thank you so much for our kind words. I just know that the world would be a better place if we were all kinder to each other.
